Inter-Slat Brackets

If you wish to add additional slats to a Slimline II Roof Rack that is 8 slats or more long (i.e., to create a solid platform for sitting, photography, etc.), these brackets are needed for those additional slats that are to be positioned next to a joiner. These brackets can also be used to position a Front Runner Single Jerry Can holder between slats, parallel to the slats.

If building a solid platform on your Slimline II and you need these brackets, note that the slats used in conjunction with the bracket will need to be ONE SIZE SMALLER than the slats used in your rack.

FOR USE WITH THE SINGLE JERRY CAN HOLDER: The Front Runner Single Jerry Can Holder is designed to be mounted perpendicular ACROSS 2 slats. If you'd like to mount a single jerry can holder PARALLEL to the slats, you will need to use these brackets.
